Setup required: this board now talks to a real backend (a Google Sheet behind a small API) instead of just your browser. Until you deploy it and paste the URL into this file, it'll run in local-only mode. See SETUP-INSTRUCTIONS for the one-time setup — it takes about 10 minutes.

Housecall Pro auto-import: once set up, an estimate being approved in Housecall Pro fires a webhook straight to the backend, which creates a card automatically with just the customer's first name, last name, and email — nothing else, and nothing for estimates that aren't approved. The very first real approval that comes through is also what confirms Housecall Pro's exact field names match what the backend expects; check the HCP_RawEvents tab in the Google Sheet if a card doesn't appear as expected.

Manufacturer ordering link: each card has an "Order Link" field — paste the manufacturer's order URL or portal link and it becomes a one-click button on the card.

Auto-email on shipment: browsers still can't send email on their own. When you move a card into Shipped, the board drafts the update email and opens it in your email client, one click from sending.

Backups: the Google Sheet itself is your backup — you can open it any time and see every card as plain rows. Export Backup and Import Backup still work too, as a second layer.
